Fisher Theatre Self-Guided Backstage Tour Stop #2

Directly in front of you is the Emergency fire exits.  The area on the outside of these doors is affectionately called Pigeon Ally, as the interior protections for the fire escape also provide some respite for birds from unpleasant weather.

The Door to the Right of Pigeon Alley is the only access point from the House (seating area of a theatre), and the backstage.  Please follow the arrows through the door to continue your tour.

Fire escapes and a brick and concrete hallway with light streaming through from the top

Here are a couple of photos of the Pigeon Ally walk through the doors on the right, under the fire escape are emergency exit doors from the Fisher Theatre stage.
