<div>Bronx-born and raised Chazz Palminteri wrote A Bronx Tale in 1988. The powerful one-man stage play depicted his bruising childhood which included witnessing a gangland killing when he was nine years old. Palminteri played 18 characters and brought them all to life in his autobiographical play. His friends, enemies, and family came alive onstage. Hollywood Studios went crazy after seeing it and offered him millions of dollars to turn it into a major movie. There was one catch ... they wanted to put a star in the role of Sonny and someone else to write the screenplay. With $200 in the bank ... Palminteri said No ... he would hold out and wait. He wanted to play Sonny and write the screenplay. Then one night Palminteri walked into his dressing room and sitting there was Robert De Niro who just saw the show. Robert DeNiro gave Palminteri the chance he was waiting for ... and as they say in Hollywood the rest is history.</div>
Palminteri wrote the screenplay for the film A Bronx Tale and then most recently wrote the book for the Broadway Musical. It was the first time in history that the same actor wrote the one-man play, the movie, and the Broadway Musical and starred in each one.
In the past 35 years, Chazz has appeared in over 60 films. To name a few - The Usual Suspects, Analyze This, Mulholland Falls, Jade, Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, Legend, and Bullets over Broadway which he was nominated for an Academy Award. He has starred in over 20 television series and has won 3 Emmy’s. Chazz is most recently seen in Modern Family, Godfather of Harlem, Law &amp; Order, and Gravesend.

The longest-running theatrical release in film history, celebrates its 49th Anniversary kicking-off two national tours in over 40 cities including a return to the Fisher Theatre Thursday, October 17 at 7:30 p.m. 
Fans will be able to meet and talk with Patricia Quinn, acclaimed star of this original cult classic in person. Quinn’s iconic portrayal of “Magenta” has thrilled generations of fans for nearly 50 years.
The show will also feature a costume contest, a performance by the local Shadow Cast and memorabilia display with artifacts and costumes from the movie. The Shadow Cast hilariously acts out the movie on stage while the movie plays on screen.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the iconic little movie that conquered Hollywood. The hit movie stars Tim Curry as the devious and fabulous Frank-N-Furter, Meatloaf, Barry Bostwick and Susan Sarandon as everybody's favorite nerdy couple – Brad and Janet – and the film's creator Richard O'Brien as Riff Raff. Just as "Avatar: The Last Airbender" masterfully blends Chinese culture with anime and American cartoon styles, an orchestra especially handpicked for this event will harmoniously combine Eastern and Western musical traditions - a symphonic fusion that faithfully reflects the signature sound of the Avatar saga. Taiko drums and erhus will share the spotlight with violins and clarinets, while the series' fan-favorite scenes are presented in chronological order on the film screen, breathing life into Aang’s liberating quest in an epic and authentic way.

Gregory Porter released his first-ever Christmas album titled “Christmas Wish” last year as a tribute to his favorite time of year and to music legends including Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, Marvin Gaye, Dinah Washington and Nat King Cole. Backed by his long-time band and produced by repeat collaborator Troy Miller, the album features inspired interpretations of carols, standards, and soulful sixties deep-cuts including “Silent Night,” “Little Drummer Boy,” Marvin Gaye’s “Purple Snowflakes,” Stevie Wonder’s “Someday At Christmas,” and Frank Loesser’s “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?,” which features a special guest appearance by GRAMMY-winning vocalist Samara Joy. In addition to Christmas classics, Porter has added three original tracks to the album, including the first single “Everything’s Not Lost.”
Acclaimed singer and songwriter Gregory Porter began singing in small jazz clubs in San Diego while attending San Diego State University. Eventually Porter moved to New York City to pursue music full-time and his career began to ascend with the release of his first two albums - “Water” (2010) and “Be Good” (2012) - both of which received GRAMMY nominations. In 2013, he released his breakout Blue Note debut “Liquid Spirit,” which quickly grew into a global phenomenon, selling more than one million albums and earning Porter his first GRAMMY Award with NPR declaring him “America’s Next Great Jazz Singer.” His 2016 follow-up “Take Me To The Alley” won Porter his second GRAMMY for Best Vocal Jazz Album and firmly established him as his generation’s most soulful jazz singer-songwriter. In 2017, Porter released the heartfelt tribute album “Nat King Cole &amp; Me,” and in 2020, returned to his original songwriting on the uplifting “ALL RISE,” both of which received GRAMMY nominations. His 2021 release “Still Rising” featured new songs, covers, duets, and a selection of his much-loved favorite songs.
